BBVA and the website hotelopia have launched a co-branded credit card, called the Suite Card.
Customers using the card will earn points when booking hotels via hotelopia, which can in future be exchanged against further bookings on the website.
The Suite Card also offers customers using the website a ten per cent discount on hotel reservations worldwide.
Javier Bernal, manager of innovation and development at BBVA, said this product "will enable BBVA to enter the UK tourist market by launching the Suite Card, which links leisure, personal finance and the Internet ? three areas of life with great development potential".
It is hoped that the card will also be linked to other tourist services and products in the future.

Your Suite Card can be used in the UK and overseas wherever you see the VISA sign displayed. It is welcome at more than 22 million outlets throughout the world.
You can withdraw up to £600 a day within your credit limit wherever you see the VISA symbol. However the amount you withdraw abroad may differ depending on local currency restrictions.
The Service has been totally shocking.We are based in the UK but also travel due to business and have been trying to apply for the Suite card.Not one of your staff could be bothered to sort it out.we have 3 credit cards already in the UK and have never had a problem.The only problem is that they are reg with another address but all other banks find a way to work around this. BBVA and Hotelopia are the worst and I am very sorry about their service.I have spoken to all their customer services and I am now stuk waiting for their manager to contact me, been 3 weeks already!!!!
Be aware of this service and I do not recommend this card to anyone.
