Cheap Car Insurance

Cheap Car Insurance online

Which insurance company should you choose? Choosing the right insurance provider is very important and this site will give you information on what to look for. Budget motor insurance is only cheap if it provides adequate cover. Select a reputable company and check out any of those offering budget vehicle insurance at heavily discounted prices; it is quite possible that the cover they are providing will be inadequate to your needs. What is the excess on the policy? Do they provide a replacement vehicle whilst yours is being repaired?

Young Driver Car Insurance

Young driver insurance - Because the majority of motor claims to insuring companies involve drivers under the age of 25 premiums for young drivers are necessarily much higher and can be prohibitively expensive or even unobtainable for high performance or sports cars. One solution is to add the young driver to an existing policy which will be cheaper but means that the young driver will not accrue a no claims bonus.

Car Insurance for a Woman

Car insurance for women is cheaper! Yes - the myths about women drivers are totally false. Actuarial statistics prove that women drivers have fewer claims and hence their premiums are less. Shop around for a womans motor insurance policy and save yourself money.

Sports and performance car insurance

It is always worthwhile looking for a specialist performance and sports car broker. General companies will not turn your business away but will charge you a hefty premium. There are smaller car insurance specialists who will offer you far better terms - the same applies for classic car insurance. Instant online car insurance - The internet has provided everyone with the chance to shop around for the best deals available but there are so many sites to choose from. If you are looking to insure your motor vehicle cheaply start your quest with this essential directory which will help you to obtain your quote online.

My current insurance company actually charge more because I'm a woman driver.

I'm outraged at the thought of paying more for car insurance - Maybe women actually pay less car insurance because they statistically can drive better!!

Is this just a cash-in by insurance companies because there are just as many female drivers on the roads today? I think so !!

Could be worse Gaynor. You could be a young male driver who's perfectly sensible and careful on the road, never even speeds, tuts when he sees boy racers thrashing down a 30mph street, no accidents, yet has to pay a premium of £2,000 -- a huge chunk of his annual wages. The whole system of insurance is unfair. It'd be great if they could assess individual drivers, but the administrative costs of that would be phenomenal. Who knows, maybe in the future technology will allow insurers to monitor how you drive, and adjust your premium accordingly... but I won't hold my breath. They won't make as much money if they lower that many people's premiums. But forgive me if I don't shed a tear over your phenomenally unfair premium.

The future has already arrived!

Norwich Union are introducing an option to have a tracker system installed in your car which then means you pay by where you drive and how often.

If it helps, bear in mind that car insurance for many years in the UK ran at a loss. Simply the premiums collected did not cover the claims made.

Young drivers paying £2000 for their insurance pay it for a reason, it is a statistacally reasonable assesment of their risk.

Pass Plus can differentiate some young drivers and insurers offer discounts of up to 30% for this.

Ensure you?re the lowest risk possible. Fit an alarm or an immobiliser; don't over-assume annual mileage; keep your car off the street and in a drive or garage overnight. Do you need a courtesy car and how much do you want to pay towards a claim? The higher the ?excess?, the less you?ll pay.

Choose between fully comprehensive cover and third party (fire and theft). Weigh up the cost of repair versus the increased insurance premiums; drivers of old bangers are often best sticking to third party (there are many more details on this in the Expanded version).

With car insurance there is always price flexibility. Once you?ve found the cheapest quote you can take it to your existing insurer or a broker to see if they will beat it, and perhaps even try to finesse it even further by shaving a few extra pounds off when you mention your best quote. The car insurance market is very competitive and haggling is possible as companies aim to retain business.

Both admiral (www.admiral.co.uk) and bel direct (www.bell.co.uk) are good for cheap car insurance in your situation. They are both owned by the same company, but their quotes may vary, so try them both (online is quickest and best!).

I've just had a flyer round at work for cheaper car insurance and the quote has cut my existing premium down by over half.

The original quote was about £30 cheaper than the insurance I use already but I had an email back from the team who said that as there other pointers (in our case no drivers under the age of 25, no accidents in the past 9 years and only me and hubby on the policy) then they could quote £xxx.xx. It's slashed my car insurance premium so much that I can afford to pay it off in full for the year. Yay me! (quick disclaimer... this was an offer through work but on bulk-printed leaflets so hopefully will work for everyone)

Tried them out of curiosity as we've just been given another car and had to insure it.

Wish I'd known a few days ago about this site as the quote was £80 cheaper than I'm paying!!!

Never mind, will remember them for when my other car is due for renewal in a couple of months.
